Bern, Bear Lake County, Idaho-Funeral services were conducted November 12 in the Bern LDS ward chapel for David J. Kunz, 62, lifelong Bern resident. He was born May 1, 1880 a son of David and Louise Jacobs Kunz. Long active in church affairs, he was a former Sunday school superintendent, in the Bern ward, and was a high priest in the Montpelier stake. Surviving are his widow, Mr. Emma C. Kunz: five sons and daughters: Horace and Ira Kunz of Los Angeles, Mrs. Leon Knight of Shoshone. Mrs. Elwood Harrison of Ogden, Utah; Lorin Kunz of Boise; six grandchildren and 14 brothers and sisters: Russell and Morris Kunz of Salt Lake;. Ezra L. Kunz of Sandy, Utah. Hyrum Kunz of Cedar City, Utah; Fayette Kunz of Los Angeles, Oliver Kunz of Shelley, Ulysses Kunz of Monrovia, California.; Orlando, Leroy and Reed Kunz of Bern, Matilda Kunz of Logan, Utah; Mrs. David Butler and Mrs. Walter Buhler of Bern, and Mrs. Jesse Buhler of Midvale, Utah."
