Leon William Lesovsky, son of George and Frances Blazek Lesovsky, was born April 9, 1913 at Cuba and died June 1 at the Belleville Health Care Center at the age of 89.

He was united in marriage to Bonnie Jakabosky on April 7, 1937 and to this union two sons and two daughters were born. Bonnie died on December 28, 1967. He was then united in marriage to Margaret Opocensky in 1970. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and a life long resident of the Cuba community.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Cuba and served as Church Elder, Clerk and Treasurer. He was a member of the Cuba Masonic Lodge No. 362 AF and AM, Ophel Chapter No. 115 Order of Eastern Star, Belleville and Cuba Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and one brother, George E. Lesovsky.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Don Lesovsky and Dale Lesovsky; two daughters, Dolores Havel and Doris Kopsa; two step daughters, Judith Keller and Phyllis Neaderhiser; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Lesovsky, Belleville, Vincent Lesovsky, Cuba and Marion Lesovsky, Belleville.

Funeral services were June 4, at the Cuba Presbyterian Church, conducted by Reverend Bob Haseltine. Masonic Graveside Services by the Cuba Masonic Lodge No. 362 AF and AM of Cuba. Interment was made in the Kopsa Cemetery, rural Cuba.
