Lucinda's parents were, Dr. Wyatt McMillan Garrett and Caroline N. "Jennie" Chandler of Fulton County, Georgia. They are buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Fulton County along with several of her siblings. Lucinda's grandparents were, Thomas Housley Garrett memorial # 218-219-54 and keziah Thomas-Garrett memorial # 528-532-25. Her great grandfather was, Jesse Garrett, Sr. all of Laurens and Anderson County, South Carolina. Jesse's memorial # is 870-260-32. Her family are in the 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 Census for Cherokee County, Georgia and for Milton (now: Fulton) County, Georgia. Lucinda's sister...Elizabeth K. Garrett (1846-1906) married Patrick Hoy Thomas and they moved to Pisgah, Alabama. They are also buried in Jackson County, Alabama along with her sister, Darcus Alpha Garrett-Moore. Darcus married James David "Dave" Moore. Patrick and Elizabeth had three daughters and three sons. Darcus had three children. Her sister, Sarah Janette Garrett married John Rollins Johnson and they had 11 children that I know of. They are buried in Fulton County, Georgia. Lucinda married 14 December 1879 Milton County, Georgia ...Mr. William Glenn "Will" Moore, the son of John Matthew Moore and Mary Jane Spearman. Lucinda and William moved to Pisgah, Alabama around 1881. They had four children together: Simon Fletcher Moore, William "Sanford" Moore, Alma Pricilla Moore-Stallings, and Carlinda Caroline "Clara" Moore- Henegar. All their children lived in Dekalb and Jackson County, Alabama...except for Sanford, he lived in Oklahoma. Both of their sons became preachers. Lucinda is loved and missed by all who knew her.
