Clarinda Caroline "Clara" Moore was named after her Grandmother Carolina Garrett. Her mother, Lucinda Garrett-Moore died at a early age . She is buried at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Rosalie, Alabama Jackson County. Her father was William Glenn Moore of Ider, Alabama Dekalb County on Sand Mountain....and her step-mother was, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Voiles Tanner-Moore. Clara was raised in the Southern Baptist faith. She came from a very close net family that loved each other very much. Clara married James Walker "Jim" Henegar 7 October 1897 Pisgah, Alabama Jackson County at her fathers home. They lived in Central , Alabama Dekalb County, Rosalie and Pisgah, Alabama in Jackson County, and in Henager, Alabama Dekalb County. They are in the 1920 Alabama Census Deerhead Cove Dekalb County, Alabama. Clara and Jim had five sons together; Thomas Mitchell Henegar, Emanuel "Guy", Eugene "Houston", Lavoy Newton, and Ernest Volly Henegar. Clarinda Caroline "Clara" Moore- Henegar's married family life is in the Dekalb Co. Fort Payne, Alabama Library under a book entitled The Henegar Family. Clara and "Jim" had a double wedding day with his sister, Martha Jane Moore who married Amanuel W. Rogers the same day. Their wedding picture is in this book. Her grandparents were; Wyatt McMillan Garrett and Caroline "Jennie" Chandler-Garrett, of Fulton County, Georgia, and John Matthew Moore (died in Civil War) and Mary Jane Spearman-Moore of Pisgah, Alabama Jackson County. Clarinda Caroline "Clara" Moore-Henegar, is loved and missed by her family and her friends. She will be remembered.
