Darcus was the daughter of Dr. Wyatt McMillan Garrett and Caroline Jennette "Jennie" Chandler of Fulton County, Georgia. Her parents married abt. 1837 Anderson County, South Carolina. Her Grandparents were, Thomas Housley Garrett and Keziah Thomas of South Carolina. Her family moved from Anderson County to Cherokee County, Georgia and then to Fulton County. Which back then, was Milton County. Darcus came from a very large family. She married James David "Dave" Moore abt. 1880 Milton, County, Georgia. Her sister, Lucinda J. Garrett had married the brother of her husband , William Glenn Moore "Will". Darcus and Dave Moore had three children together; Henry Garrett Moore 1881 Ga.- 1953 Texas.....Carza Mae "Carzie" Moore-Kirby 1883 Ga.- 1969 Texas and Rev. John Wyatt Moore 1885 Georgia died 1942 Texas. Darcus's great grandparents were. Jesse Garrett, Sr. and Elizabeth Henderson memorial # 870-260-32 and # 870-200-71.
