Eugene Robert "Bob" Bailey, 66, of Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, went to be with the Lord Nov. 25, 2001, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 12, 1935 in Lincoln Township, son of Clarence and Lottie (Barndt) Bailey. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Nelson and Ralph, sister Elda Frampton, and son-in-law James Lambert. Survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Betty Leverknight, and these children: Gloria Lambert, and Donna, married to David Younkin, both of Berlin, and Dale and fiancee Cherie Fritz, Boswell. Loving grandfather a Stephanie and Christy Lambert and Casey and Tyler Vought. Brother of Grace Frampton, Mildred Flickinger and Harold Bailey, all of Somerset. Also survived by numerous nieces nephews and good friends. Retired mechanic for the Pa. Dept. of Transportation with 27 years service. He dedicated his life to helping family and friends with lawn mower and auto repairs. Attended Mostoller United Methodist Church. Member of AFSCME Local 2125. and Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. William Blair officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
