Elda L. Frampton, 73, of Stoystown, died Oct. 10, 2000 at her residence. Born July 6 1927, in Linclon Township, daughter of Clarence and Lottie (Barndt) Bailey. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers, Ralph and Nelson Bailey. Survived by husband of 54 years, Howard E. Frampton; children; Ruth Ann married to Rex Pyle, Hedgeville, W. Va.; Ron married to the former Mary Kay Gindlesperger, Meyersdale; Cathy, married to George Handwerk, Stoystown; and Brenda McClemens, Stoystown; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Eugene R., married to the former Betty Leverknight, Stoystown; Harold J., married to the former Peggy Bowser, Somerset; and two sisters; Grace Frampton of Somerset; and Mildred Flickinger, Somerset. Member of Kantner Assembly of God. Was a retired seamstress at the former Junior Form of Boswell. Also a member of the I.L.G.W.U. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Marty Critchfield and Rev. Ralph Tinkey officiating. Interment, Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Sipesville. Memorial contributions to Cincinnati Shriners Hospital Burn Institute.
