Nelson A. Bailey, 54, of Berlin RD 3, died Jan. 3, 1987, at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 28, 1932, in Kimmelton, son of the late Clarence and Lottie (Barndt) Bailey. Survived by his wife of 31 years, the former Mary Bowser; and the following children: Ruth of Somerset; William A., Friedens; Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Sell, Nelson and David, all of Berlin; Tammy of Garrett; 13 grandchildren. Brother of: Mrs. Howard (Elda) Frampton, Stoystown; Grace Frampton of Wheaton, Md.; Eugene Robert, Stoystown; Mildred Flickinger, Ralph and Harold (Jim), all of Somerset. Korean War veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. Mechanic by occupation. Friends will be received 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted Tuesday 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating. Interment, Listie Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Monetary contributions may be given to the family.
