He was born December 1, 1951, in St. Joseph, Missouri, son of Nellie and Richard Graves. He was a cook at the Stockyards Cafe, Chicken Taters, Betty's Cafe and Weidmaier Truck Stop. Ronald enjoyed fishing, cooking and tinkering.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Graves; and six sisters, Kathy Sears, Dorothy Routon, Shirley Clemens, Sharon Kunzler, Connie Barber, and infant Sheila Graves.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Graves of Saint Joseph, and Chester Ptomey of the home; a brother, Frank Graves of St. Joseph; and a sister, Roxey Harshbarger of Seattle, WA." St Joseph News-Press, March 19, 2014
