Sam, Eliza and children, Olive, Harry and George came to the Lacombe district to homestead about 1900, from Kansas. In 1901, their son Albert was born. Eliza tragically passed away in 1904, leaving Samuel with four small children.
Son, Harry Edgar White, was born June 13, 1894 at Glamorgan, Haliburton County, Ontario, and died Feb. 24, 1977 at Terrace, B.C. Harry was a C.N.R. Engineer. He never married. Harry served in WWI.
George lived in Leduc, and never married. He served in WWI.
Albert married Jane Helmer.
