OOLTEWAH Graveside services for Roberta Alcorn Moss, 78, of Ooltewah, formerly of Buffalo Valley, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home today, Sept. 22, from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday, from noon-3 p.m.
Mrs. Moss died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1926, in Putnam County to the late Fitzhugh Lee and Ethel Mae (Huddleston) Alcorn.
Her family includes three daughters, Barbara Mills of Ringgold, Ga., Sandy Fox of East Ridge and Deborah Schrader of Tucson, Ariz.; ten grandchildren, Gary, Jason and Joshua Mills, John, Wayne, Jennifer and Barbara Ann Moss, Tyler Fox, Matt and Robi Schrader and three greatgrandchildren,
Brady and Sam Mills and Jordan Schrader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Tyler Moss and a son, Carson W. Moss.
