Harold L. Wieser Sr., 95, of Rosebud, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in a Temple Hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Burial followed in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mr. Wieser was born September 20, 1918 in Rosebud to Otto and Ida Ocker Wieser. He grew up in Rosebud and served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He married Mable Dean Robbins on December 23, 1945. He worked as a pipefitter for the Exxon Oil Refinery in Baytown from 1952 to 1974. He then returned to Rosebud and farmed and worked for Tide Fertilizer and PAK Grain.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by one son, one daughter, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Memorials may be made to Woodland Cemetery Association, or Rosebud Vol. Fire Dept. Vistiation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Thursday at the funeral home.
