Funeral services were Dec 20, 1994 at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery with military honors by D.A.V.
He was born March 5, 1917 in Freedom WY the son of Parley Pratt and Stella Taggart Baldwin. He married Susa Ruth Merritt in Woodruff, UT on May 20, 1939. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had been a resident of Kaysville for many years. He retired after 33 year of government civil service. With assignments related to his work, taking him throughout the world, where he was respected for his work and he made many friends. He worked for the Davis County School District and was broker/owner of Baldwin Realty in Kaysville.
A Star Valley High School graduate, he attended the University of Wyoming and later Weber State University in Ogden. He was a World War II Veteran and a member of V.F.W.
He was a High Priest in the Kaysville 1st Ward. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church where he held many positions of service.
After 55 years of marriage, surviving him are his wife Ruth, two sons Gary and Bob; six grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Don Baldwin, Guild breeze FL; Mel Baldwin, Evanston; Nellie Averett, Bellevue WA; Helen Dickie, Palmetto FL and Hermoine Peterson, Denver. He was preceded in death by one son Dee.
