Mr. James Thomas "J.T." Hudson, age 51, Concord, Calif., Retired Chief Petty Officer Hudson died at 9:30 p.m. Friday in Alameda, Calif. hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Pascagoula, MS., June 29, 1929, and lived here until he joined the Navy. He retired from the Navy in 1968 and was a civil service employee of Alameda Naval Air Station until his illness.

Preceded in death by his father; James B. Hudson, grandparents; Edward & Elizabeth Hudson and Joseph & Ida Mae Miller.

He is survived by his wife Shizuko (Ohno) Hudson, Concord: three sons; Jimmie, Eddie and Frankie Hudson, all of Concord: his mother Viola Hudson, Pascagoula, MS: two brothers; Robert Hudson and Edward Hudson, both of Pascagoula, MS: two sisters; Mrs. Viola "Sis" Hester, Pascagoula, MS and Mrs. Joyce Price, Baton Rouge, LA, and numerous other relatives.

Burial with full military rites will be Tuesday, August 19, 1980 in Oakmont Memorial Park.
