Paul A. Easterwood, 76 died Sunday May 20, 2006 at Rosewalk Village. Born in Lafayette, IN on January 27, 1930 to the late Herman and Amebell (White) Easterwood, he was a lifetime resident of Lafayette, IN and he also resided in West Palm Beach, FL. He married Marjorie E. (Rayman) Easterwood on February 18, 1967 in Otterbein, IN and she survives. He served 4 years in the Air Force and Retired as a Tech Sergeant. He was a Postmaster from January 1967 till he retired in 1988. He was a member of the American Legion Post 11. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, enjoyed cars, and basketball.

Surviving with his wife is a stepdaughter, Wilma Long of Lafayette, IN, and 2 brothers Ron Easterwood of Greenville, TN and David Easterwood (wife Rita) of Lafayette, IN.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday May 24, 2006 at 11 am and will be held at Hippensteel Funeral Home with Fr. Ambrose Ziegler officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the charity of choice.
