Goldie Evelyn Hunter was born in 1907 to Samuel Hunter and Julia Glenn. She grew up in downstate Illinois and married Cleve Vance Crubaugh on 31 May 1924 in De Witt County, IL. Goldie and Cleve had nine children. They are enumerated in the memorial for Cleve.
After Cleve died in 1957, Goldie married Casey Cutter on 10 Oct 1958. He died just 3 months later and she reassumed her Crubaugh surname. She married William Metzger in Noble County, IN on 12 Jan 1979. She then married Lindy Elmer Bronson on 13 Jan 1981 in Elko County, NV. Lindy was Goldie's widower son-in-law, having been married to Goldie's daughter, Norma Lou. Goldie died prior to Lindy and was buried next to her primary husband, Cleve Vance Crubaugh. Lindy died in 2004 and is buried next to his first wife, Norma Lou Crubaugh Bronson.
