Ella is missed, loved and remembered forever by all who loved her. Ella
was born in Motley MN. Her Family moved the Mpls MN area when she was
a baby. It appears that Ella resided in Mpls MN much of her life prior to
her passing away in Buffalo MN. Ella married the love of her life Warren
in 1914 in Mpls, MN. Warren and Ella liked to travel and go fishing in Brainard MN. Warren's Sister Rosalie, her Spouse,Llloyd Cooper, their children lived in
Brainard MN. Ella grew up attending the Norwegian Lutheran Church
and remained active in Church. Ella's beloved Husband Warren preceded her
in death. Ella stayed at the Ebenezer Care Center/Lake Ridge Manor in
Buffalo Wright Co. MN prior to her passing away. Ella's Sister Emma
moved to the same Ebenezer Care Center. Emma preceded Ella in death
the year before Ella passed away.
In Dec. 28. 1989 The Journal Press of Buffalo MN featured Ella when she was
101 yrs old. In Dec. 1991 she was interviewed again when she was 103 yrs old
at the Care Center. They were wonderful, long interviews about her life and wisdom.
Per her interview, Ella had no children. The Reporter quoted Ella has much candor,
good humor and common sense as well as a good philosophy about life. Ella's Cousin
Oline Olson Carlson showed us those very nice articles about Ella and talked about
her sweet cousin Ella. Ella, per her Cousin was a smart, kind, compassionate, energetic woman who everyone adored. Per her interviews, Ella attended the Minnesota School of Business. Ella was a bookeeper at the Mpls Leader Mechantile Co. Warren worked as a Safety Instructor at the Mpls Street Railway.
Ella lived a full 103 yrs!
