Raymond will be loved, missed and remembered forever in the hearts
of all who loved him. Raymond grew up in Minnesota USA in a large family.
Raymond lived in Minneapolis Minnesota much of his life. It appears
that Raymond was living in Detroit Michigan at the time he passed away
when he was working on the road, and passed away in Indiana.
,His Spouse Helen and young son Raymond were living in Detroit when
Raymond passed away unexpectedly. Raymond was hiking back to Detroit
from Indiana when he became ill. Raymond was working out of state
on a road crew in Indiana. Raymond passed away of pneumonia at the
Noblesville Hospital in Indiana. Raymond is laid to rest with his
Parents and Siblings in Minneapolis Minnesota USA. It appears that
Raymond was the only of many of his Siblings born in Minnesota that
was blessed with a Child. His Son Raymond Arthur Jr appears to be the
only grandchild of Ole J. Mellemsdokken Olsen and Annie Amundsdatter Olsen.
Raymond is survived by many relatives in the USA, including
Minnesota, California and Norway. Minnesota Relatives are in Communication
with Relatives in Norway.

U.S. Military WWI Draft Registration has exact DOB. Unknown if Raymond
Olsen Sr. enlisted or served during WWI. Raymond did have a U.S
Military WWI Draft Card via Mpls MN as Raymond Arthur Olsen.
Raymond was a Railroad Postal Clerk at that time and the family
lived at 3445 19th Ave S. Mpls MN in 1918. Raymond's Dad Ole Olsen
worked for the Railroad.

To Note:
Raymond Olsen's cause of Death sited as pneumonia Dec. 19, 1929.
Raymond's Brother Merlin Olsen was being treated for Tuberculosis. (T.B.)
inpatient at the Glen Lake Sanitorium for the T.B. not long after
Raymond passed away. Merlin Olsen died May 30, 1930 of T.B.
at the Glen Lake Medical Setting in Minnetonka MN.

Raymond Arthur Olsen passed away at the Hamilton County Hospital
in Noblesville Indiana. There is a 1929 Noblesville Indiana newspaper
article written about his death. Written soon after Raymond's death.
( name of paper and exact date not known) The article (paraphrased) sited
"Raymond Olsen's Death at Local Hospital. Raymond Olsen of Mpls.
Contracted cold here while on a hiking trip to Detroit." The
article describes his working in Indiana, plans to hike to
Detroit where he considered his home. "He called Detroit his Home."
The three or so paragraphs site his catching a cold while hiking
in drizzling rain that developed into pneumonia. Raymond Olsen of
Minneapolis. There were funeral services in Indiana before he was
returned to Minnesota for burial. Raymond's Mother and at least
on sister , Mabel, were notified about the the hospitalization
and were with him when he passed away.
"Mrs. Olsen and daughter of Minneapolis were called here
several days ago on account of the sickness of their son, brother.
They were at his bedside when he passed away. "

was referring to Detroit Michigan. Raymond's Son Raymond

( 1924- 1998) It appears that Raymond Jr kept in contact with our Minnesota
Olsen including Raymond Sr.'s Mother Annie Olsen and Raymond Sr. 's
