Susannah is very likely one of the four unnamed daughters of John W. Mayfield and Edith Brandon.

Susannah married Martin Bullock on December 28, 1835 in Crawford County, Illinois. They were living in Turman Township in Sullivan County, IN by November 30, 1839. They had 10 children together, all born in Sullivan County, Indiana:
A male child who died as an infant;
John P. who served in the Civil War;
Elizabeth Bullock Colvin;
Mary Bullock Anderson;
Chapman, who died young;
Nancy Bullock Barnes;
Jasper;
Clifford;
Precilla Bullock Osborn; and
George;

Her obituary as printed in the Sullivan Democrat weekly newspaper on Wednesday, October 13,1875:
Graysville Bulletins: Died.—Mrs. Martin (or Susan) Bullock has gone the way of all the earth. Her disease was inflammation of the bowels. She was the person over whom the community was much agitated and excited , for the last nine years, on the supposition that she had done some a private injury. On one occasion, on a darknight, there collected around her house a crowd of unknown persons and partially tore down her house, which resulted in a law-suit and an acquittal of parties arrested. Against this lady, personally, we never knew anything wrong, only what the public would report in their opinion to be true. But we mercifully draw the curtain over the past of this lady and commit her life and soul to the judgment of a just God, who says through his words to all: —
17. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves; but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay,
saith the Lord —[Romans, chap. xii.]

It is not known where she is buried, but it may be in White-Crow/Union Chapel Cemetery in Graysville, where they lived.
