WILLIAM SIMPSON MOUNTS OBITUARY

William S. Mounts. 68, of Canonsburg, R.D.2 died in his home at 6:10 a.m. Monday, March 16, 1981, after a five month illness.

He was born, April 13, 1912, in Buffalo Township, a son of William H. and Sylvia Scott Mounts, and had lived in Cecil Township for the past 36 years. He was a Protestant.

Mr. Mounts was employed at Mayview State Hospital as a farmer and later worked for 11 years for Eliza Metals. Before his retirement in 1973, he was employed for five years by the J.C. Penney Co. in Bridgeville.

On July 16, 1932, he married Lorena Bell Kelly Mounts, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, William S. Mounts Jr. of Claysville R.D.3; four daughters, Mrs. William ( Peggy) Tinkey of Canonsburg R.D.2, Mrs. James (Wanda) Barbour of Newark, NY. Mrs. Joseph (Shelia) Lunn of McDonald R.D.2 and Mrs. Havel (Sandy) Lindley of West Finley R.D.2.; five brothers, Melvin E. Mounts of Washington, Cephas S. Mounts of Claysville R.D.1, Charles G. Mounts of Houston, and Sherman Mounts and Dean Mounts, both of Claysville R.D.3 three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Applegate of Claysville R.D.2, Mrs. Lloyd (Louise) Breese of Claysville R.D.3 and Mrs. Martha Byers of Washington and 10 grandchildren.

Two infant sons are deceased.

Interment is on Thursday, March 19th in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, Pennsylvania.
