Greensburg — Glen G. Clapp, 86, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was born on July 25, 1927, the son of Gordon and Elsie (Feezell) Clapp.

He graduated from St. Paul High School in 1945. He married Florence (Tucker) Clapp on November 14, 1948. Glen served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Glen was a member of Wesleyan Chapel Church. He was a charter member of the St. Paul Kiwanis Club and a past member of the Waldron Masonic Lodge.

Glen worked as a branch manager at the St. Paul branch of the State Bank of Waldron for 26 years. After leaving the bank, he served as Clerk Treasurer for the town of St. Paul and later worked for the town's water company.

He is survived by his wife; daughters Peggy Fagel and Charlene (David) Case; daughter-in-law Holly Clapp; sister Ruth Ryle; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Paul and Tom Clapp; sisters Alma Powell and Dorothy Buchanan; son Larry Clapp and great-grandson Gage.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 25, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home in St. Paul. Masonic Rites will begin Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, at the funeral home, with Adrian Scripture officiating. Burial will follow in Paul Hill Cemetery, with a graveside military service conducted by the local veteran's organization.
