Florence Clapp, 92, of St. Paul, passed away on July 7, 2020, at Heritage House in Shelbyville. She was born May 27, 1928 to Joshua Tucker and Agnes (Gribbins) Tucker in Kentucky. She married Glen G. Clapp on November 14, 1948 and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Peggy Fagel of Shelbyville; Charlene (husband David) Case of St. Paul; daughter-in-law Holly Clapp of Pennsyvlania; sister Anna Lou Dagley, and brother William (wife Virginia) Tucker; sister-in-laws June Clapp and Ruth Ryle; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother Lee Tucker, son Larry Clapp, and great-grandson Gage.
Florence was a lifetime resident of this area. She loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, St. Paul, Friday, July 10, 2020 at 1pm with visitation from noon until time of service. Burial will be held at Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
