They visited relatives there often. Aless and Dena had many relatives in the same area. Aless attended college and got a Business Degree. Aless wanted to serve our

Country in the U.S. Military, as many other

Family Members and friends served in the

due to vision loss from an an eye injury he

sustained as a child. Aless was always

active at their Lutheran church and in the community. After they married, Aless and Dena started their Family living in the Wadena area. Aless managed the Creamery in Wadena many years. Aless, Dena and their children moved to Lake City MN. Aless and Dena later resided in the Twin Cities Metro area. The Families got together often in Wadena , Mpls other metro areas. Aless and Dena were both close to all their Family Members. Aless and Dena loved to visit Wadena and spend time with his Twin Brothers Art & Harold Olson, their Families. The Fourth of July was a big event yearly. When Aless' Sister Alma was alive, her spouse and the Wickstrom Family provided fireworks at the Family home in Wadena. Their Family spent much time with Aless's Sister Oline's Family at her cabin up the hill from Lake Mtka and Mpls. They spent time with all of his Siblings families. Aless enjoyed boating and fishing, spending time with Family and Friends. They spent time with Dena's beloved Family, many in Staples MN. It was heartbreaking for all the Family when their young son Ronnie passed away. As of 2016, Aless and Dena are survived by a Daughter, two Sons, grandchildren, and many other Family Members.
