Born February 16, 1927 in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Odus and Ethel Barr Vannoy. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
She is survived by three daughters Loretta Lamb of Zepherhills Fl, Nancy Craddock of Rittman OH and Irene Carter of Nicut, WV; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A brother Hale Vannoy of Georgia and a sister Waneta Sturms of Grantsville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert L King, five children and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 27, 2013, 11:00am, at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg with Rev. Carl Marks officiating.
Burial will follow in the King Cemetery at Nicut. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10:00am until the time of the services.
