Wilma Freed, 78, of Crossville, TN., died Monday, Apr. 25, 2011, at her residence. She was born at Apple Farm, WV. the daughter of the late Odus and Ethel Barr Vannoy. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Thompson and Sharon J. Simerale; five sons, Gerald F. Freed, Gary W. Freed, Terry L. Freed, Charles B. Freed and Larry D. Freed, 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Pauline Dobbins, Waneta Sturms and Virginia King; and one brother, Hale Vannoy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gerald B. Freed; one sister, Ruth Raybuck; and five brothers, Emanuel "Red" Vannoy, Paul Vannoy, Delbert Vannoy, Harold Vannoy and Oval Vannoy. Services were held at Baker-Osinski-Kensinger Funeral Home, Berea, OH.
