Pauline V. Dobbins, 95, of Brighton Township, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Friendship Ridge. Born January 14, 1916, in Apple Farm, WV, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Ethel (Barr) Vannoy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hill Dobbins; two sons, Dean and Larry Dobbins; five brothers, Paul, Harold, Delbert, Oval and Emunuel Vannoy, and two sisters, Ruth Raybuck and Wilma Jean Freed. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Esther Dobbins, New Brighton; a brother, Hale Vannoy, Georgia; two sisters, Virginia King and Juanita Sturm, both of West Virginia, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. in the LUTTON BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 1117 Fifth Ave., www.luttonfuneralhome.com ,with the Rev. Lee Bittner, chaplain of Heritage Valley Health System, officiating. Interment will be private. If desired, contributions may be made to the Soup Kitchen in New Brighton at Christ Episcopal Church, 1217 Third Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.
