Beulah Matthews
Beulah N. Matthews, i resident of the Monterey Peninsula since 1928, died this morning in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Snow City, Mich., she was born March 12, 1928.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Myrtle) Johnson of Marina and Mrs. Fred (Marietta) Krolczyk of Norfolk, Va.; a son, Da¬vid L. Matthews of Monte¬rey; her; mother, Mrs. Mary L. Dawson of Seaside with whom she made her home most recently; four sisters, Mrs. Lutina Hedrick, Mrs. Polly O'Brien and Mrs. Marion Sanchez, all of Seaside, and Mrs. Bernice M e a d of Monterey; a brother, Donald C. Dawson , of San Jose; and six grand children.
Services will be Held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Paul Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Thomas C. Knauf of Calvary Baptist Church of Marina officiating.
