Little Eliza was born in April 1880 to her mother, Eliza Jane Bagley. Due to complications of the birth her mother only lived for three days. With no mother to care for her she only lived for three months. She is buried by her mother. During this period, a census taker found the Bagley home. It was a large, sad and lonely household that he recorded for mother Eliza Jane had only been gone for two months and Little Eliza still had one more month to live.
