Survivors: wife, Mary; sons, Marvin of Pratt, Mike of Hays, Matt of Cunningham; daughters, Marlene of Wichita, Melva of Cunningham; stepmother, Clara of Pratt; brothers, Dan of Garden City, George of Lucas, Harold of Leavenworth, Robert of Marion, Jerry of Partridge; sisters, Velma Schnittker, Viola Blue, Gladys Krug, Ellen Jean Vernard, all of Pratt, Gertrude Wehling of Colorado Springs, Lynette Chick of Hutchinson, Sue Vernard of Plains, Mary Ann Keilman of Grand Junction, Colo.; three grandchildren.
