Mary Agnes Oller, 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1932 in Cunningham to Lee Calvin and Rose (Pelzl) Smith. Mary married Melvin Oller on August 24, 1950 in Cunningham, KS. They were married for 39 years.
Mary Graduated from Cunningham High School in 1950 and from Sidney's Cosmetology School in 1961. She was owner and operator of Mary's Fantasy Salon. She was a life member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, CCD teacher, Daughters of Isabel, American Legion Auxiliary, 4-H Leader, Alter Society, Red Hat Society, Boy Scout Leader, Book Club, Women's Club, Cunningham Booster Club, Arbor Day Member and Community Concerts Member. She enjoyed Bowling League, volunteering at the Cunningham Library, an avid sports fan, loved motor sports, the KU Jayhawks, traveling the world, being a hairdresser for the Miss Kansas Pageant for many years and an award winning cosmetologist.
She is survived by sons, daughters, 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Rose Smith; husband, Melvin Oller; sister, Anna Lee Spratt; brother, Leo Henry Smith; daughter, Mary Ann Oller; grandson, Cody Oller.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS. Rosary service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian burial following at 9:00 a.m. at, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 404 E. First St., Cunningham with Bob Pinninti presiding. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
