Ramona E. Crowder

Ramona E. Crowder, 67, Topeka, died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Edwin O. and Dorothy Marie Phillips Hobbs. She had lived in Topeka since 1959.

Mrs. Crowder was a member of an Assembly of God Church.
She married Bill Crowder in 1947 in Attica, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Bozarth and Pamela Hefner, both of Topeka; a son, Bill L. Crowder II, Topeka; seven sisters, Eva Ahland and June Cooper, both of Memphis, Mo., Margaret Highfill, Ruth Hart and Alice Cardone, all of Topeka, Martha Rosenbaugh, Atlanta, and Nancy Jennings, Shawnee; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Crowder will lie in state after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 4300 S.W. Drury Lane, Topeka, 66604.
