Flora was born December 7, 1921 in Oasis, Utah, the daughter of Andy Ray and Lilly Josephine Hortt Owens. She was the eighth of ten children.
Flora married James Alvin Campbell on August 14, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She is survived by five children: Dennis (Vie); Darryl (Debra); Ronald (Cheryl); Randy (Beth) Campbell; and Jolene (Randy) Wightman. She was the grandmother of twenty-three and the great-grandmother of twenty-seven. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Skeem and one brother, Eugene (Shirley Jean) Owens; sisters-in-laws Bertha and Bonnie Owens; and brother-in-law Gordon Campbell. Preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin Campbell; her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
Flora was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She spent her life serving and loving her family. She also served in various church callings including Relief Society, the Young Women's program, and name extraction program.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in the Midvalley Fifth Ward Chapel, 7800 South 1250 East, Midvale, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location two hours prior to the Funeral Services.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
