Mildred M. Gillenwater, 84, of Cary, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
She was born Dec. 27, 1916, in Rushville, the daughter of Homer and Bertha (Lincoln) Skiles. They preceded her in death as did her husband Kenneth Gillenwater.
Survivors include two children, Patricia (James) Runchey of Crystal Lake and Roderick Gillenwater of Cary, one grandson; three sisters, Hildreth (Robert) Walters, Dorothy Lang, and Leila Ward; and two brothers Robert (Betty) Skiles and Jess (Marge) Skiles.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home in Cary with Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial was in Windridge Cemetery.
