Dorothy went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.
Dorothy was born Sept. 6, 1919, in Schuyler County, Ill., daughter of Homer and Bertha Lincoln Skiles. She married Victor Lang on June 8, 1940, in Hannibal, Mo. He died Sept. 10, 1999.
Dorothy worked as a machine operator at the former Strombeck & Becker for 15 years, retiring in 1971. Dorothy had been a member of the former Moline Gospel Temple. She dearly loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Linda Sue Lang, Colona; three stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Hildreth Walters; and a brother, Robert Skiles, both of Oquawka, Ill.
