May Udell Skipworth, 86 of Tom Bean, Texas, died Monday October 8, 2007 at Homestead of Sherman in Sherman, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Earnheart Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Greg Allen of Kentuckytown Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. Pallbearers will be Chuck Lansford, Barrett Morris, Johnny Skipworth, Roger Ashinhurst, Don Worsham and Leslie Dodson. Eugene McMillin will be an Honorary Pallbearer. May Udell Skipworth was born May 8, 1921 at Whitewright, Texas to John Morton Ashinhurst and Eula Green Henderson Ashinhurst. She married G. A. "Jack" Skipworth on May 20, 1939 at Sherman, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Lynda Dale Lansford and husband Jimmy of Sherman, Kathy Sue Morris and husband Johnny of Sherman; grandchildren, Chuck Lansford and wife Nancy of San Antonio, George Lansford and wife Trudi of Hawaii, Jodi Hoard of Elgin, Chris Lansford of Sherman, Barrett Morris and wife Casey of Pilot Point; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorena McKinney of Irving, Mattie Zeru and husband Stan of California; brothers, J.M. Ashinhurst of Grand Prairie, Vernon Ashinhurst of Denison, John Lindy Ashinhurst and wife Doris of Euless; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Ashinhurst; husband G. A. "Jack" Skipworth; sister, Paige Flannery; and brother, Argus Ashinhurst.
