OBITUARY-
Myrtle Elizabeth Whitcomb, 90, died Dec. 24, 2000, at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.
She was born Feb. 5, 1910, in Iowa. She was the daughter of Francis and Rozella Felkey Goldsberry.
Myrtle married Harold Whitcomb on Nov. 26, 1930, and was a lifelong resident of Austin.
She was a member of Assembly of God Evangel Church of Austin.
Mrs. Whitcomb is survived by four sons, Donald (Mildred), Austin, James (Joanne), Hayfield, Roger (Sue) Phoenix, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren;
Mrs. Whitcomb was preceded in death by her husband Harold and a son, Eugene.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Evangel Community Church with the Rev. David Simerson and A.D. Sturm officiating.
Interment: Grandview Cemetery
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and on Thursday for one hour before the service at the church.
