Mrs. C.W. [Edith Mae Goldsberry] Carr, 59, of Orleans, former Estherville resident, died at her home yesterday at 6 p.m.
The Carrs moved three years ago from Estherville and before living here had lived in Superior. Mrs. Carr was born August 25, 1890. Survivors include her husband, a son, Clarence E. Carr, of Estherville, an Uncle, E.l. Felkey of Estherville; an aunt, Mrs. C.N. Peterson of Armstrong; two other sons, three daughters and another uncle. Services will be held Friday in Armstrong Methodist church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 2, 1950)
