Mr. and Mrs. Goldbery's [Goldsberry] little child died at Swan Lake last week, and was buried in the new cemetery Monday. The parents have the sympathy of the entire people in their sad affliction. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, October 18, 1889)

Swan Lake
Died – Of cholera infantum, George Leslie, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Goldsberry. Mrs. G. wa at Armstrong Grove visiting her parents when the little one sickened, and after a brief illness, passed away. They have the sympathy of all in this their sad hour. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Steele, at this place, and a large concourse of relatives and friends were present. Interment was made in this cemetery.
