Emma Hubbard, daughter of Nelson and Teresa Shimek Mapes, was born July 22, 1888 in Republic County, Kansas near Haworth, and died February 12, 1972, at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 21 days.

She was united in marriage to Harry Russell Davidson on January 8, 1908. To this union two children were born; Harold and Afton.
After Mr. Davidson's death she was married to John L. Hubbard on March 1, 1928.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; Harry Davidson in July 1926 and John Hubbard in July 1960; her son, Harold, February 18, 1963; five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Young of Hubbell, Neb.; step-daughters, Velda O'Connor, Arleen Abrahams, Uleen Rytych, and Georgia Hamblin; one daughter-in-law, Marcella Davidson; one sister, Mrs. Agnes House of Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted by the Rev. Fred Mansfield at the United Presbyterian Church of Cuba. Burial was at the Farmington Cemetery north of Cuba, Kansas.
