EAST PRAIRIE - Mrs. Myrtle Mae Allen, 67 years old, died Wednesday in the Sikeston hospital.
Mrs. Allen, a native of Mississippi County, was born April 25, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rayburn.
Mrs.Allen was married to Louie Allen, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Arthur Allen of East Prairie, and Oscar Allen of Hinsdale, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Smith of East Prairie; a sister, Mrs. Edith Phillips of Louisville, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Friday afternoon at the McMikle Funeral Home in East Prairie, conducted by the Rev. Orby Beard, pastor of the Christian Church. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery.
