Kenneth C. "Ted" Bliss, age 77, died July 31, 1990, at home.

Born October 12, 1912, in Hinckley, Utah, the fifth of thirteen children to Alfred F. and Mattie Cropper Bliss. Married Ardella Myers, July 10, 1933, in Salt Lake, where their union was later solemnized in the LDS Temple. They built a business, Zions Upholstering, in Provo. The Provo Lions Club benefited from his membership.Survivors: wife, Provo; three sons and a daughter, Kenneth A. Bliss, Wellsville; Mrs. Clark (Janice) DeWolf, Provo; Gerald M. Bliss, Provo; Randy J. Bliss, Alpine; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Paul Bliss, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Verdon Bliss, Martin Bliss, LaRue Banks, all of Salt Lake City; Jay Bliss, California; Iona Snarr, Sandy; Betty Switzer, Midvale; Barbara Latsis, Murray. Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Lawrence Bliss, Beatrice Noorda, Ray Bliss and Richard Bliss.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., Edgemont Ninth Ward, 4300 North Canyon Road, Provo. Friends may call Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, Friday evening 6-8 p.m. or at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Interment: Eastlawn Memorial Hills.
