The Wellington Leader September 30, 1963

Mrs. Lula Mae Gravley, 87, a resident of the Quanah and Hollis areas since 1907, died Sunday, September 12 in the Hollis Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Hollis Church of Christ. Burial was in the Quanah Cemetery.

Mrs. Gravley was born in Ludville, Georgia. Her husband, the late Charlie Gravley, preceded her in death in 1937.

Survivors are five sons and seven daughters: Martin Gravley of Childress; Harley Gravley, Luster Gravley and Jack Gravley of Quanah; Eugene Gravley of Grand Prairie; Mrs. Vada Beard and Mrs. Pluma Beard of Hollis; Mrs. Bill Ritchie of Quanah; Mrs. Lela Foard of Memphis; Mrs. Mary McNutt of Weatherford; Mrs. Opal Foard of Carey and Mrs. Ola Mae Forbis of Wellington.
