Josiah was born near Barnsboro, Gloucester Co., NJ. He married Sybella D. Horner on 22 Jan. 1857 in Auburn, Salem Co., NJ. He died in Logan Twp., Gloucester Co.

Note: His remains were relocated to Lake Park Cemetery, having been interred originally in another location.
