Anna was the daughter of Josiah B. Beckett and Sybella D. Horner. She was living with her mother in Woodbury, Gloucester Co., NJ, 1900, at which time she was listed as a saleslady. She trained in nursing at Hahnemann Hospital, Scranton, PA. She never married.
