Marshall B. Antle, Sr., 74, a resident of Berlin and father of Marshall B. Antle, Jr., history instructor at the Springfield High school, died at 10:30 o'clock last night in Springfield hospital. The youngest son of Henry and Nancy Duncan Antle, he grew to manhood near Salisbury, and was the last surviving member of a family of eight brothers and sisters.
He married Mary Frances Carlock who preceded him in death two years ago. They were the parents of five sons, four of whom survive. Besides Marshall B., Jr., the other children are: Francis M., Chicago, Nathan C., and Earl W., of Berlin. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Interment will be made in Berlin cemetery.
Cause of Death: Mitral Heart Disease (From Death Certificate)
