On Sept 15 1931, she was united in marriage with Mr. Harld Wehrspann. To this union one child, Gary Lee, was born Sept 2, 1934. Since the age of 7 when she was afficted with inflamatory rheumatism, she suffered many illnesses in her lifetime. She sought relief from her suffering at various places. The past summer she was taken to a hospital at Iowa City and later to the Peoples Hospital at Independence. Her illness continually grew worse until she passed away Oct 5, 1934 , at the hospital at 8:55am. Her husband and her parents were at the bedside at the time of her death. Her age was 20 years, 7 mo., and 28 days.
Besides her husband and infant son, she is survivied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kapke, two brothers, Albert and Carl, three sisters, Mrs. Julia Schoenbeck, Mrs. Ruby McFarlane and Jacqueline, one grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Trumblee and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon. Rev. Fred Lutz of Maynard having charge of the service at the house and the paster Rev. Bauer conducted the service at the church.
Burial was made at Campton cemetery.
