—On the 20th inst. In a buggy in front of the parsonage at Doe Hill, by Rev. C. A. Joyce, Mr. John F. Snyder and Miss Melissa Botkin. all of Highland County.

Mrs. Mellissa A. Snyder passed to her reward Friday, May at three o’clock at the age of 79 yrs., 6 mos.. and 21 days. Mrs. Snyder had been sick for some time but her death was unexpected. She had belonged to the Methodist Church for a long time, uniting with the Brethren Church a few years ago. Mrs. Snyder was a quiet. peaceable woman and had many good friends. Surviving are her husband, six sons, Jason and Clem of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Roy of McDowell: Clay, Sam and Harvey of Doe Hill, one daughter, Mrs. C.W. Hoover of Doe Hill; one brother, Peter Botkin, of Illinois, twenty three grand children and ten great-grand children. Funeral services were held from the Doe Hill Church Sunday at 2 o’clock by Rev. M. J. Craun assisted by Rev, L.M. Moffett and Rev. W.W. Stevens.
