Sarah Angeline Benjamin, 78 of Route 2, died at her home today at 7:30 a.m. following a long illness.
She was born March 3,1893 in Missouri, the daughter of John and Mary McHenry Cooper.
She married Edgar Benjamin January 29,1912 in Iola, Kansas. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter Miss Rosemary Benjamin of Ottumwa, Iowa, two sons, Lester Benjamin of San Leandro, California and Ray Benjamin of Ottumwa.; three grandchildren; and one sister; Mrs Myrtle Moss, of Humboldt, Kansas.
The funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. John Miller of the First Church
of God officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Jones, Russell Haines, Carl M. Johnson, Virgil Coughlin, Jack Ieinje, and Robert Summers.
