On June 20, 1964, she married one last time to her third husband Fred Lane. For a second time Lillie was left a widow on June 9, 1971.

Donald Ray Reece
She also raised her daughter's son who was called Victor Lee Reece.
Mrs. Lane requested no funeral service.
Because of re-marriage Lillie was not placed in the (husband and wife) shared marker with her former husband Hugh Merril Reece but instead her ashes were scattered nearby at this picturesque cemetery.
