There is some discrepancy on birth year, with records confirming two different baptism dates for a Marie Anne Bastien in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada ... one year apart.

Per cemetery records, no grave marker existed prior to a multi-person family plot marker placed in 2022, which uses the earlier birth year. Because multiple data sources (census, death and cemetery records, and several family sources) all indicate 1852 as Annie's birth year, I have chosen to follow that path.

Were there two different children, or was Annie perhaps baptized twice? You may draw your own conclusions.
